Busesa Vocational School
During our visit in Busesa counselor Maryam shares with us her desire to start a vocational school in the village. She has a passion to see the women in the village learning skills to be able to take care of themselves. The need for a vocational school is also high due to several single mums living in the village. If they learn skills they will be able to provide for their families.
YoChild-Africa, with the vision to empower families and communities, has come alongside counselor Maryam to support her dream for her village. In bringing expertise and raising support, we see the vocational school becoming reality.
We believe that the vocational school will have a huge impact on families and therefore on the community.
They are currently over 70 students working in shifts using 3 sewing machines. Through your support we can reduce the number of shifts by providing more sewing machines for the vocational school and so improve the learning environment for the students.
