Annet, our Yochild-Africa Netherlands team leader, Francisca and José have arrived safely in Uganda! It’s always a privilege to receive such as them in Uganda and we couldn’t wait to see what God has in store for His people through them.
The visitation day to our sponsored children with our visitors made it possible to witness the gradual improvement of our children’s academics. It’s easy to see that they take this opportunity of going to school seriously by examining their school books and the previous academic reports. And while conversing with their teachers, they also expressed how determined they are to ensure that get the best of every lesson. So we praise God for His grace upon the lives of these children. And we wish to thank their sponsors for their relentless support.
We are also thankful to God for the ministry of prayer and prophecy done by sister Annet for the people of our community. The two days evening prayer have been of tremendous effect in the lives of the people we serve. Sister Annet has been ministering to them through prayer and specific words of prophecy. Through her ministry, people were prayed for and God set them free from all sorts of bondage. We thank God for her obedience to His Word and maximisation of the grace that He has put upon your life. As we continue to receive testimony after testimony of your ministry, we pray that more doors may be opened for her to minister to God’s people.
The time given to the children in our village has warmed our hearts. We are always thankful for people that choose to come and serve with the skills and talents they have. And so we have enjoyed as teacher Francisca took on teaching one of the classes in our YoChild-Africa Primary School for the short time she has been with us and the impact it had on the children.
It has never been easy to say goodbye after a special quality time with friends such as them. In the few words, we once again would like to express our gratitude for the time well spent with us. And for the new insights brought into the ministry.
“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
You have done us well, both physically and spiritually. Thanks for igniting us, and we will endeavour to keep the fire burning. We will truly miss you.
