As we started with our educational program in our centre, we were grateful to have with us teachers Floor, Lotte and Naomi from the Netherlands.
With Floor’s knowledge of teaching a new language to children, she has been very helpful in teaching the children in Kiboga the English language. This week we worked around the theme: The body. They learned every day 15 new words and learned to apply them in a play about going to the doctor.
They have enjoyed their sports classes with Lotte and Naomi, and the bible teachings they have been giving.
We ended the week with lessons about the importance of healthy teeth and how to brush your teeth. Thanks to Lotte and Naomi who brought tooth brushes and tooth paste, all the children have received their own tooth brush.
