As the world is fighting covid19, also in Uganda measures have been taken to prevent the spreading of corona. As public transport, shops and markets have been closed down many people lost their daily income. There are no monthly salaries that will continue to be paid, but people live from their daily income from their small businesses of selling vegetables, clothes, food etc.
Without their income people have no food, which has lead to difficult situations for many families. Through donations that we received, we were able to lift that burden for several families by providing food for them that will take them for some weeks through these hard times.
The smiles of these families say enough to know how thankful and relieved they are for this support.
